too many things to say; and i can't seem to recall every detail of it, since it's been more than a month i've been here (i'm so not good at memorizing! hah!)
OK, so where should i begin? hmm...
1st week starting 8th Feb
we arrived on the evening of Sunday the 8th. the view of Perth from the flight window was nice, but i prefer Malaysia berganda-ganda more ^_^. we've more colours from above, i swear! i miss my home land, owh Malaysia~ haha we were picked-up by UWA's pick-up service that i arranged just the day before, thanx to Nicola for accepting my very late application form, cheers! aha!
so we reached Trinity College around 7pm and the driver gave discount for my mum. thank you. (btw, the driver was kinda good looking haha) the worse part of the day was we had to carry our huge luggage bags = 51kg up the stairs huh! and yes, it was Sunday, and u know Sunday, people don't work here, OK; angkatlah bag kau tu sendiri!
the next morning, we had breakfast at Trinity's cafeteria. the atmosphere was great, just like in movies. well, specifically, i imagine Twilight, again haha. plus, there was a guy who looks like the Emmett in the movie who make it even more Twilighty ahaha!
btw, books here are soo expensive! Twilight's like $29.99? and it's only RM35 in Malaysia. ah!
we went to uni that morning, and there it is, the building where i'll be spending most of my time in the future ^_^ - the Environmental System building!
.the environmentalist's aha!.and so we spend the few days looking for accomodation, settle bank account at the city and stuff. owh and recharge my vodaphone prepaid, and one of the staffs looks like So Ji-seub!!
we moved to Kak Yan's house the night before 11th.
Monday the 11th was enrolment day and orientation for the internationals. days later was all about enrolment, class registration bla bla n house viewing. i remember running uphill at Stirling Hwy on Thursday 12th around 7.30pm just to be on time for the house viewing at 67 Stirling haha i'm gonna laugh to that everytime going along Stirling =P

2nd week starting 16th Feb
was O-week for all UWA 1st years. we went just on the 1st day and was kinda regret it haha. 1st day was super tiring! there was a treasure hunt but most of the time we were focused on catching-up with the group leader and a few probably local students at the front, than looking for the treasure haha. fyi, Malaysian walking pace is different from the locals yah. u know how hard it was to keep up with them, owh!
.keeping up!.on the 17th, Timey, Radiah & Ana called; they found a house somewhere along Mountjoy Rd. so that marks the end of our house-hunting days, phew! we finally settled down in this huge old-style house at the top of the hill in Nedlands, and we're happy ^_^
Saturday, was 81 Mountjoy's house-warming and the were lotsa people, which mostly i don't know who they are ahahaha.
.busy.the next day, Sunday, we all bought a 2nd-hand bike each at swap mart in Belmont. mine was an old model bike, Indi 500, and it really looks old like the grandmother of all the bikes at our house haha but i like it a lot.

class commences,
.excited for 1st day.and i'm the only one in tudung in all lectures. uni's fun but i love college more. i kinda miss the things we did back then. anyway i'm glad that Daniel, Jonathan & me have almost the same timetable. we worked soo hard for that in OLCR session during orientation, thank god! and there are Jono & Val and Adam as well. glad and ease.
.Jono.Val.Jonathan.Adam.my mum went back to Malaysia on Wednesday and of all days it rained a lot on the day when i had no choice but to rush home in the rain to send mama to the airport. i'd never seen so much water falling off the clouds ever since i came. we sempat went for picnic the day before mama balik and it was lotsa fun.
.picnic @ Swan.Kak Yan organize a BBQ at Matilda Bay for the 1st year malay girls. it was so that we know the seniors, and vice-versa. aim met, walla!
.BBQ-ing.4th week starting 2nd March
haunted by lab on Monday; Lab partner was nice (and yeah cute) and i was dumb, the experiment kills because there're so many columns to fill in the figures and we didn't bring our calculators hah!
intro to mechanics is getting interesting~ and then my bike pancit, only a day later i realized it was actually bocor and not just pancit.
i find Thursdays physics lecture's the best haha i saw one once like the Edward Cullen in the movie wearing jumper with that same hair, siting a few seats away aaaaaahhh!!
on my way back from uni on Friday (after happily enquiring the bike shop for tyre change and it's only like $16), i was attacked by a guard dog (i think) in front of a house at Louise St. which if i'm not mistaken the house number is 12B and i'm soo gonna sue you! the stupid house owner left the gate open seluas-luasnya (that gajah pon boleh lalu OK) with a huge unleashed dog at the front lawn, and the dog doesn't even look cute for a pet! ....and i cried, haha i was soo shocked when the dog suddenly pounce on me alright. i felt bad hitting the ugly dog with my bag but i really don't want another scar on the face. luckily it wasn't some kind of rogwiller whateverthespellingis, or i swear i'll fly back to Subang that same evening!
we, the mountjoys, went to Didi, Alin, Z's crib house-warming on Saturday at Victoria St., Bentley. then we went to Fairuz & Shu's place at Cook St. for no special occasion aha!
.at Bentley.that nite, Fatin & me went to Sommerville with Kak Yan and some other akaks. Perth Festival's still going on, and the week's movie was Buddha Collapse Out of Shame. was quite a sad movie and really symbolic, it did take some time to be digested and understood. and some are just left unanswered.

i started to hate physics lab a lot and that comes in a package with my lab partner. i'm gonna peel that label "nice" off him (but he's cute anyway haha my housemates do agree with me, so don't worry about me having sight problems! owh and i just realized that i didn't even know what his name was. was it Ben or something?).
we got our internet connection on Tuesday whee~ well that was after a few very loooooong (expensive as well!!) phone calls to Telstra; talking to the machine, a worthless trip to the city; just to know that we need the lease agreement to apply a phone line and we didn't bring that along, and went to the wrong building; WestNet Infrastructure instead of the internet provider WestNet, last week and the week before.
well, on friday evening, we attended Hazman's farewell BBQ at Mill Point, East Perth.

.halaqah ^_^.on Saturday, Kodok, Amirul, and K (3rd year medic seniors which i just known on that day, except for Kodok, known him back in KUSESS) hold a house-warming at their new house, 59 Fairway. only Fatin & i went, others are probably too tired after waking up very early in the morning to catch-up fresh seafood at Canning Vale with Kak Yan.

.the atmosphere.owh yeah after 59 Fairway, Fatin & me followed Kak Yan and Kak Alya to the new Coles in Claremont and we were like 'whoa besar (probably the largest seen in 1km radius from our house), dekat dengan Mountjoy, boleh cycle aje!'
later that day, around 6pm, Kak Ti and her husband came to repair my bike tyre.
.teruja!.then on Sunday morning, the whole house took a ride to Selby St., Shenton Park, for a massive garrage sale~ and so i bought a cupboard and a bed at $40 hee

in the evening, Kak Yan, Fatin, Radhiah, & me went to Kak Didi's house in Mosman Park, where we met Syifa's brother, Talha ^_^ and had fun!~
