a D.I.Y. laptop skin

boredom has birthed this whole thing;
the laptop, the post, the crap!!

and now, the ugly-looking 3 years-old laptop looks more presentable haha

OK i did not design that pattern yeah, it's a wrapping paper i bought.
but anybody can be more creative and create their own designs for their laptops with this DIY laptop skin haha be it collage, patchwork, painting or just about anything! and it looks just as nice or sometimes a lot nicer then the ones they sell in computer shops ^_^ (probably a tiny bit of exaggeration there hahaha) but of course this is incomparable to Gelaskins' designs that are undeniably sangat lawa and also super mahal!!
OK back to the skin above: it is custom-made to fit perfectly to any laptop's length and width, and most importantly, it is waterproof.

i'm still revising it for a richer look but remain cheap aha!

--- i sounded like a sales agent promoting stuffs haha ---

all u need is:
- scissors, cutter, extra-thin double-sided tape / PVC glue
- anything you could think of for the skin (wrapping paper, poster, paper bag, newspaper, etc.)
- self-adhesive plastic;
and be creative!

raw materials estimated price:
should be less then RM10. if it turned out to be more, u've been tricked by the taukei kedai haha

let's say we use wrapping paper, the most expensive would be RM2.20 each (not taking the tissue kind of material wrapping paper into account, that's not worth buying for this DIY thing we're making) since we only use half of it, the other half can be shared with BFFs, used for wrapping smaller birthday gifts, or kept for future reinstallment aha!
while other stuffs like paper bag, newspaper, etc. is FOC!
a roll of self-adhesive plastic is RM7 or cheaper. the one i bought can make up to 4 laptop skins.
therefore, sharing makes all the difference~

p/s: i miss doing keceriaan class back in KUSESS haha those days playing around with coloured papers, PVC glue, and everything we got in the 'almari belakang' aha!
