i realized that this blog has been overcrowded with pictures lately, but i can't help it.
i'm putting up more!!
this is another cuti-cuti Malaysia post i suppose~
saw ms.read's latest collection mag early this month with snapshots taken at..Alhambra!? OMG!
after flipping it to the last page, i found out a place given the name, Morrocan Pavillion situated at the Putrajaya Botanical garden.
OK so the picture wasn't Alhambra, it's a replica of the Moorish architectures in Moroco. but it looks so real~
yesterday, mum n me visited the place and it really looks real! well minus the fact that it is smaller (of course la, replica kan) and not walled on all the sides heh. they paint it in a way that it looks rusty, looks original.
the building with patio inside (forgotten the name heh) requires entrance fee and it's only rm3 per person hee. that's where the close-up look of the Moorish architectures in Rabat, Meknes, Fez, and Marrakech, the 4 imperial Morocan cities are.
OK i'm not uploading all the photos here. come to putrajaya and see it for yourself yeah! it's a nice place i tell u!
so if u have any plans of visiting the place in the future, make sure u bought the tickets at the Visitors Information Counter 1st before going there yeah! because there'll be no signboards or anything telling that u have to pay for the entrance to the building, only a guard that will say "kene ada ticket ye nak masuk sini, sila beli dekat VIC" after u walked and took pictures at the garden & courtyard and happily thought u could enter the building and took more pictures hah!
by the way, bike rentals are cheap as well heh rm4 per bike (the kind that 2 persons can go on one - tandem bike is it?) for 1st 2 hours, great huh?
then we had lunch at the Taman Warisan Pertanian. the tour to the orchard looks great by the way, but unfortunately there was nobody there to attend to the visitors. they wasted an income haha
i saw the canoeing expedition advertisement at the pertanian place and so we drove to the Putrajaya Recreational Park with me being soo excited haha but that didn't last long. again, saw nobody at the counter, the life jackets were abandoned, exposed to rain-sun-rain-sun, oxidised and decolourized (i miss chemistry class btw huhu).
next stop was supposed to be the Putrajaya Wetland but we can't seem to find the place and keep comming back unexpectedly to the same place for 3 times after diverting at a few junctions. so we headed home lah senang cerita~
and i had fun the whole day!
i'll come again and try everything! canoeing, tandem biking, bla bla..
owh and make sure they'll have people waiting at the counters and change the life jackets before that yeah! go Malaysia! (patriotism in the air woohoo!)
anybody joining? ^___^
p/s: i'm so lazy to choose and upload our Langkawi vacation photos to Picasa heh therefore, not uploading it~ if the day i suddenly have the urge to upload it comes, i will then ahaha
