a corroboree to remember

just came back from corroboree half an hour ago...huh!

8 hours before...[5pm]

i was preparing myself...soo not bothering about the dress i'm going to wear though i think i look weird in it! i was supposed to wear kebaya at first but i changed my mind and so i wore just the kebaya's dress and a white coat with a scarf that is soo penyek on my head...i was monologuing as i walk out of the front door "owh no, it's almost 6. can i go up and change? please..please.." ...plus abang said i look like a maid...ngok betol, so discouraging!

7 hours before...[6pm]

went to e-tiara to fetch zamira & wawa...and then fetch daniel at myplace...off we go~ to sunway lagoon resort hotel [the same place as the last prom i went]...i was alienated for a while haha everyone at the lobby was wearing off-shoulders exept for me and zamer...so we went upstairs...wawa, ijat and other J3 girls were there anti-socializing haha and so we joined them...

6 hours before...[7pm]

we went straight to the registration counter after magrib prayers...then met alyn, seri and daniel...

at the ballroom entrance

on the table was the door gift, something to remember aha!, a SAM Taylor's tie pin...the ceremony starts with speeches, boring ones huhu and then propose a toast! audiences were kicked start by lecturer performance which i can recognize mr.kevin in boxers far on stage from table 84 in the last row of tables in the ballroom [in fact, the same ballroom as last prom i went huhu]...
owh there were quizzes too, which ehem..table 84 won ^_^ ! surprised that we make a great team though we don't know each other...members of the table were daniel + seri + me from J2, lokman from J3, and others were from E1, supreme + esther + sze wei + shia yeng + joyce (OMG! u guys look soo different in Winanga-li, it really took me some time to find your names!!)...joyce was soo semangat, great to have a team member like her =P ...imagine this, she wanted to go out just to buy a packet of tissue for the quiz which is soo not worth it because she'll be coming back with her makeup cair and also some leg pain due to the heels haha...luckily i brought one but left it at the surau...
we need to answer a few questions and find an unopened tissue packet, a sunglass, and a table member's student ID with the last number matches the table's last number, in order to win...
our (me & seri) run to surau was worth it i guess, we won a 4GB Kingston thumbdrive, a RM20 MPH cash voucher, and a Taylor's flask each...owh and also a box of macadamia chocolate to be shared...thanx to Que for lending us his sunglass...luckily he was next to our table and one of those weird people who wear sunglasses in buildings haha...

then, we enjoy the food, took pictures..bla..bla..then there was a slide show of SAM classes which i find it not fair!! there were only 2 pictures of our class (J2)...the movie i made was just a waste of time and effort...they didn't put that in...as for the other J classes, they only took a few seconds of their movie...mostly were January-March classes' movies on the screen...i'm soo not happy, my effort's not appreciated!!~

due to my tudung's penyekness, i didn't walk around much...i really wanted to take pictures at other J tables regardless of whether i know them or i don't...but it didn't happen! huuuh, wasted a chance to get to know more SAM July'07 people...

2 hours before...[11pm]

almost everyone went out of the ballroom and started taking pictures...some went straight to Euphoria since we got free entry ticket...also, some continue dancing in the ballroom...

1 hour before...[12am]

went down to the hotel lobby, some heading back home and again, some walking to Euphoria...we continue taking pictures...i saw Melben at the lobby ahaha! also Baezil & Gustave (sounds like some brand; marks & spencer aha!) whoa!, quite a few minutes before mama came and fetched us (zamer, wawa & me) home huhu...they went to the car park, tak sempat take picture haih~

had a great nite today...thanx for the wonderful memories since july'07 to november'08...gonna miss the days in SAM...hope i'll be seeing u guys again some day...bye!~

p/s: to the girls; sorry i lied to u guys heh...been tak tenang since the last day of yellow house aha! and i think i lied too in the ballroom just now aha!...i was just worried that u guys will do something unimaginable haha apart from the penyek tudung i'm wearing haha...nevermind, let Melben be imaginary OK alyn, seri, nabila, zamer?! sorry~ ^_^
